There are 80 kids in East Tennessee who are waiting to have their wishes granted. Sicilee is 8 and she has Cystic Fibrosis, and Sicilee wants to swim with dolphins. Bailey is 14 and he wants to go to a Vols game. Help make their wishes, and those of many other kids, come true, with a donation to Make-A-Wish. Visit Wish.org/ETN (for East Tennessee).
The Chattanooga Free Store helped 300 adults and 152 kids in the last month, with free diapers and shoes and clothes and soap and canned goods. They need your donations! The Free Store is at 1701 Dodson Avenue, and they accept donations Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm til 8pm, and on Saturdays from 11am until 1pm. Drop off any donations during those hours, when their volunteers are on-site, and help the community. 1701 Dodson Ave.
Audubon Acres is now teaming with the Chattanooga Public Library, allowing anyone with a Library Card to check out Family Passes for 2 adults and 4 kids. The Audubon Acres passes are first-come, first-served, and will allow your family to explore 5 miles of hiking trails, and the South Chickamauga Creek, for free! It’s another great reason to get a Library Card, from any branch of The Chattanooga Public Library.
