Four Small Cleaning Projects That Will Make a Huge Difference

Cleaning

Earlier this week, we heard about the “Poop Rule” for decluttering your house. Here are four areas around your house you can use it to make a BIG impact . . .

1. Under the kitchen sink. The things you use on a regular basis like dishwasher tabs and sponges should be front and center. Throw away anything you won’t use anymore, like old expired cleaning products.

2. A utensil or utility drawer. If you’re always searching for things in cluttered drawers, take a few minutes to organize them so they’re easier to use. And toss or donate duplicates of things, like can openers or pizza cutters.

3. Garage tools. Cleaning an entire garage can be overwhelming, but tackling one area at a time . . . like gardening tools . . . can be much more manageable.

4. Your nightstands. It’s one of the first things you see when you wake up and one of the last things you see before falling asleep, so keeping it clean can go a long way toward making you feel more organized.
