1/- During the “College Days Celebration” at the Tennessee Aquarium and the Imax Theatre, college students & faculty & staff pay half-price. The dates are September 10th through September 30th and are half-price each day except for Saturdays. You’ll have to buy your tickets in person and show your I.D. or college pay stub, but it’s half-price at the Aquarium and Imax, the 10th through the 30th of this month.

3/- The Chattanooga Zoo offers discounted prices for home-schooled kids and their parents, on Friday Sept. 12th. Visit the website for details, that’s ChattZoo.org

4/- The first-ever Chattanooga Jazz Fest will be at the Choo Choo on October 26th. It will be free admission, with jazz and blues performances, and lots of family-friendly things to do. October 26th at the Choo Choo.

5/- This year’s “9/11 Memorial Stair Climb” will be held Saturday Sept. 13th, at AT&T Field. This event allows the entire Chattanooga community to honor the 343 firefighters who died in New York City on 9/11. On Saturday the 13th, the gates will open at 7am and the event will start at 9am. Info is available on the Chattanooga 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Facebook Page. Again the event will be Saturday Sept. 13th at AT&T Field.
