A Study Found Warm Drinks Might Help You Avoid the Winter Blues

Here’s an easy health tip to get in on as the mornings get colder and colder . . .
A study at San Diego State found that as we move into winter, WARM DRINKS might be better for your mental and physical health.
People who drank a lot of hot beverages in winter tended to have fewer issues with depression and insomnia. Hot foods like soup had the same effect.
Warm stuff was also linked to fewer digestive issues, maybe because your body has to work harder to digest stuff that’s cold. It takes more energy to warm it up in your stomach.
Quote, “Something as simple as the temperature of what we eat and drink CAN have real impacts on health.”
