JOHNNY DEPP AND AMBER HEARD TRIAL MOVIE TO STREAM ON TUBI: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation case will get the made-for-television movie treatment in Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial. The film, staring Mark Hapka as Depp and Megan Davis as Heard is set to premiere Friday, September 30th on the free Tubi streaming service. The streamer's chief content officer said in a statement that the movie was fast-tracked into production "to capture the timely take on a story that became part of the cultural zeitgeist."

'SNL' ADDS FOUR TO CAST: Saturday Night Live has added four new featured players. The show announced Thursday (September 15th) that Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearny, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker to its cast.

SUBLIME BIOPIC IN DEVELOPMENT: Deadline reports that Sublime biopic is in development at Sony Pictures with The Hunger Games helmer Francis Lawrence attached to direct. The film will be executive produced by surviving band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson with Bradley Nowell's estate represented by his widow, Troy Nowell and son, Jakob Nowell.

Brittany Snow and husband Tyler Stanaland are separating after two years of marriage.

The couple announced their split on Instagram Wednesday (September 14th) with identical statements.

The Pitch Perfect star wrote, "After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives. John Stamos's memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, will be released next fall.

According to a press release, the book will cover his most famous television roles, his time touring with the Beach Boys, and his midlife quest to find sobriety.

In June a federal jury found the reality couple guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. According to a new document obtained by People, the sentencing date has been pushed from October 6th to November 21st following the pair's filing of a joint motion for a new trial. The motion alleged that a witness from the IRS presented false testimony.

REP: WENDY WILLIAMS CHECKS INTO A WELLNESS CENTER: Wendy Williams has checked into a wellness facility for overall health issues. According to Page Six, Wendy's publicist said in a statement, "Wendy has entered a wellness facility seeking help to manage her overall health issues. Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time." However, a source told the newspaper that the "wellness center" is actually a rehab center to treat Wendy's substance abuse issues. The source said, "It's gotten worse. She went from wine to straight up vodka."

TIFFANI THIESSEN STARTS GOFUNDME FOR PUBLICIST'S FAMILY: Tiffani Thiessen started a GoFundMe to help support Scout Masterson's family after the publicist died unexpectedly early this week. According to People, stars like Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Beverly Mitchell, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Haylie Duff, Eva Amurri and Marla Solokoff have all contributed towards the fundraisers $50,000 goal. ANDY COHEN TEAMS WITH NBC FOR SITCOM BASED ON MEMIOR: Andy Cohen and NBC are teaming up for a sitcom based on the childhood of the Watch What Happens Live host. The project, called Most Talkative, is inspired by Cohen's memoir of the same name. The coming-of-age comedy will follow a fictionalized, 13-year-old Cohen growing up in 1980s St. Louis.

OLIVIA WILDE'S DAUGHTER APPEARS IN 'DON'T WORRY DARLING': Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudekis's daughter Daisy has a credited role in her mother's film, Don't Worry Darling. E! News reports that fan photos circulating on social media show that the five-year-old is credited as the character "Rosie."

Jimmy Kimmel is facing backlash for his bit with Will Arnett at the Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 12th). Arnett dragged Kimmel to the stage and left him there, saying that Kimmel "couldn't be here tonight" because he "had gotten into the skinny margaritas" and "passed out."

People are upset that Kimmel didn't leave the stage after Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson won the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. "Jimmy Kimmel owes Quinta an apology but the messed up part is every image of her accepting her award has his ass in it. White men really are insufferable," one person wrote.

Variety spoke with Brunson following the event. "I don't know. I know Jimmy Kimmel and I felt like the bit didn't bother me that much. I don't know what the internet thinks," she said. "Jimmy gave me my first late night spot and was one of the first people to see Abbott."

She added, "I don't know, tomorrow maybe I'll be mad at him. I'm going to be on his show on Wednesday, so I might punch him in the face. We'll see what happens."

Whoopi Goldberg is way ahead of the times when it comes to the latest eyebrow trend. On Monday's (September 12th) episode of The View, she and her co-hosts discussed the "no-brow look" that stars like Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat have all adopted.

Panelist Sara Haines admitted that she "never noticed" Goldberg didn't have eyebrows, despite working with her for six years. "I look right into your eyes and I did not know this," she said. Ana Navarro chimed in to say she was also "today years old" when she realized.

The Ghost actress explained the reason why. "I had eyebrows as a little kid and you know how men get those bumps? I started to get them on my face so my mother removed them. Goldberg went on to say that one of her ex-husbands didn't notice either. "I was married to a man who did not notice until one day he said, 'Oh my God, you don't have any eyebrows,' and I said, 'Yeah, I know,'" she shared.

In the October 2022 issue of Elle, Gisele Bundchen shared her "concerns" about Tom Brady returning to the NFL. This comes amid rumors that the couple is facing difficulties in their marriage.

"Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," she told the publication.

Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney teamed up with the organization Lead From Behind to raise awareness about colon cancer. The pair both turned 45 this year and agreed to have their first colonoscopies filmed.

"I would never normally have any medical procedure put on camera, and then share it," Reynolds said in the video.

He continued, "It's not every day that you can raise awareness about something that will most definitely save lives. That's enough motivation for me to let you in on a camera being shoved up my a**."

In a press release from the Lead From Behind organization, the Free Guy actor added, "I've been on camera a lot. But this was the first time one was shoved up my a**. The procedure and prep were painless but the discomfort of filming and sharing the process was the hardest part. JEAN-LUC GODARD DIES AT 91: Deadline reports that Breathless (À bout de souffle) director Jean-Luc Godard died by assisted suicide in Switzerland at the age of 91. Godard was a leading figure of the French New Wave, and his films included Contempt, A Woman is a Woman, Le Petit Soldat, Vivre sa vie, and Pierrot le Fou. Many in Hollywood honored the late director via social media on Tuesday (September 13th), including Antonio Banderas and Stephen Fry.

EMMY AWARDS VIEWERSHIP REACHES AN ALL-TIME LOW: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the viewership numbers for Monday's (September 12th) Emmy Awards reached an all-time low. The 74th Primetime Emmys saw 5.92 million viewers, dropping below six million for the first time. The previous low occurred in 2020, with 6.36 million people watching.

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘BABYLON:' On Tuesday (September 13th), Paramount Pictures released the trailer for Babylon, starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Variety reports that the film is set in 1920s Hollywood, as the industry transitions from silent films to "talkies."

In an interview with Extra published on Monday (September 12th), Oprah Winfrey said she believes there's "an opportunity for peacemaking" between the Sussexes and the royal family, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went on a walkabout with Prince William and Kate Middleton at Windsor Castle over the weekend, Extra's Jenn Lahmers asked Winfrey, "You sat down with Meghan and Harry. We're seeing the four of them together now in London. Is there a hope out there this, in some way, her passing would be a way to unify the family, maybe heal some wounds?"

Winfrey responded, "Well, this is what I think, I think in all families — you know, my father passed recently, this summer, and when all families come together for a common ceremony, the ritual of, you know, burying your dead, there's an opportunity for peacemaking … And hopefully, there will be that."

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long shared an emotional reunion on the season three premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show Monday (September 12th). The pair had an on-and-off relationship between 2007 and 2010.

While filming the much-anticipated Black Panther sequel, Letitia Wright shared that she felt Chadwick Boseman's presence on set. Wright played Boseman's little sister in the original film, which was released in 2018. Boseman tragically passed away due to colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.

"I will always have moments on set of doubt, and I'll be like, 'Oh man, I don't know if I can do this.' I could just hear Boseman be like, 'Sister, you're great. You got this. I'm proud of you.' That really just kept me moving forward," Wright told People at the D23 Expo.

Winston Duke also commented on Boseman's absence. "You don't realize that this movie wasn't as playful in between takes as the first one. When Chadwick was around we were rapping and laughing. It just wasn't the same dynamic. That's one thing we can tell you: It wasn't the same dynamic. But it couldn't be, because it's not the same circumstance," he said.

Lily Tomlin is in awe of her longtime friend and costar, Jane Fonda. Earlier this month, Fonda announced that she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which she referred to as a "very treatable" cancer.

YOUNG GIRLS REACT TO ‘LITTLE MERMAID' TEASER TRAILER: Variety reports that the teaser trailer for the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey, has received over 104 million global views. Zendaya, Halle Berry, Keke Palmer, Ben Platt, Nicki Minaj and Amanda Gorman all praised the trailer on social media. An adorable TikTok trend has taken off as well, with parents recording their children watching and responding to the trailer.

The 74th Emmy Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday night (September 12th), hosted by Saturday Night Live's Kenan Thompson and airing on NBC and Peacock. The big winners of the evening were The White Lotus, Ted Lasso, and Succession.

Succession was nominated for 25 Emmy Awards and took home the award for Outstanding Drama. Ted Lasso won Outstanding Comedy and The White Lotus won Best Limited Series. Jason Sudeikis won Best Actor in a Comedy series for his work in Ted Lasso as well.

Jennifer Coolidge danced to the cutoff music when she nabbed her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for The White Lotus. Murray Bartlett also took home his first Emmy for Best Supporting Actor, and Mike White won back-to-back Emmys for Best Writer and Director in a Comedy Series for The White Lotus as well.

Lee Jung-jae took home the Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for his role in Squid Game, becoming the first Asian actor to win the trophy in that category. Zendaya won Best Actress in a Drama for Euphoria, becoming the youngest two-time Emmy winner in history.

Jean Smart won the award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. She thanked someone "for the Botox" at the end of her acceptance speech because, as she said, she "lost a bet."

The emotional wins of the evening included Lizzo accepting the competition series Emmy for Lizzo's Watch Out For The Big Grrrls. In her acceptance speech, she said, "When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media. Someone fat like me. Black like me. Beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something, I would be like, ‘You're going to see that person, but bitch, it's going to have to be you."

Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph performed Dianne Reeves' "Endangered Species" when she accepted her award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. "I am an endangered species/ But I sing no victim's song/ I am a woman I am an artist/ And I know where my voice belongs," she sang, stunning the audience.

Sarah Paulson and Shonda Rhimes presented Geena Davis with the Governor's Award for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, which strives to create gender balance in the industry. Highlighting her 40-year acting career, a montage of Davis' roles over the years was shown, including in Thelma and Louise, A League of Their Own, and Grey's Anatomy.

John Legend performed his beautiful new song "Pieces" for the In Memoriam segment that honored Betty White, Sidney Poitier, James Caan, Louie Anderson, and Ray Liotta, among others.

On the comedy front, Thompson joked that Zendaya was too old for Leonardo DiCaprio. "26 is a weird age in Hollywood. Young enough to play a high school student, but too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio," he said. He also referenced the Oscars slap when he commented on Regina Hall's appearance at the award show. "Surprised she's at another award show — Girl, you brave," he joked.

Bowen Yang also joked about the slap when he said to Thompson, "Did you see the Oscars? So many things can go wrong when you host an award show."

• "You have about 90 of these, don't you? I have to tell you first of all, my face hurts so much from all the fake smiling I've been doing. Thanks to the great folks at Disney and Hulu and everybody at that table, this is one of the special projects I've ever worked on. When I was a little, little kid, very small, my dad wins something at a raffle, and he brings it home and it's a little black and white TV, literally about that big. And we kind of lived out in the country. And sometimes people, neighbors would come down and actually watch it when I saw this thing, this was my face from age maybe 5 to 10 and I could not take my eyes off it, it was magic and I watched all of the cowboy shows and especially the comedies, the gangster shows, I fell in love with it and I would go and I would reenact these scenes or create my own scenes. My parents and brothers and sisters would watch me out the window and to this day, they were never demeaning, they were never dismissive they never looked down upon it they never made fun of me. In fact that would ask me to reenact scenes for them. My folks weren't exactly patrons of the arts. They weren't patrons of anything, frankly. I want to thank them I want to just thank all those people in my family for never making me feel foolish, because I went on to do that several times myself and that's the thing about feeling foolish and making a fool of yourself and making mistakes there's huge power and merit in that and I'm glad I made a fool of myself over and over and over again. And one thing I want to say, over the years we've all been through tough times. There have been some doubters. I've had some doubters... you know what? We're cool. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday (September 8th), Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined Prince William and Kate Middleton for a walk outside Windsor Castle Saturday (September 10th). It was a surprising turn of events, as tensions have been high between the Sussexes and the royal family.

Kensington Palace says William invited Harry and Meghan to join him and Kate. People reports that security was not expecting both couples.

The foursome was dressed in all black as they greeted crowds and took in the sight of flowers and other tributes laid out to honor the late Queen.

A source told the publication that William thought this act "was an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family."

Another insider said, "It's such an extraordinary historical moment and also a deeply personal one for the family that you'd hope and think that all members of the family would unite and support the King especially. And perhaps some of those wounds can be healed in the process."

People also reported on Sunday (September 11th) that Markle's new podcast Archetypes will be paused for the time being. It is unclear when new episodes will be released again.

Ray J went on Instagram Live to call out Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian after Kris took a lie detector test on The Late, Late Show with James Corden last week. The polygrapher claimed that Kris was telling the truth when she denied orchestrating the sex tape deal between Kim, Ray J and Vivid Entertainment.

Ray J responded on IG, saying, "YOU f*cked with THE WRONG BLACK MAN krisjenner @kimkardashian — I DONT GIVE A F*CK HOW OLD THIS SH*T IS!! WHAT YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME IS ALMOST INHUMANE AND FOUL AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL— F*CK THIS BEING JUST RACIST — THIS IS WRONG TO DO TO ANYBODY— YOU THINK YOU. CAN JUST F*CK PEOPLE OVER AND GET AWAY WITH IT FOREVER!!!

He continued, "YOU NEVER SUED STEVE HIRSH FOR 5M BECAUSE WE ALL MADE THAT UP TOGETHER — IT WAS YOUR MOMS IDEA — YOU WANNA TAKE A FAKE LIE DETECTOR TEST WITH JOHN.GROJAN — ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS GOGGLE HIM AND LOOK AT WHAT COMES. UP! — CLOWN SH*T!! . . ."

He later went live on IG and claimed that Kris orchestrated the sex tape deal for he and Kim and that there is a second sex tape that was filmed in Santa Barbara. Ray J claimed that Kris actually watched the tapes and chose the one to distribute in which Kim looked the best. Ray J also shared the actual contracts with Vivid Entertainment with Kim's signature on them.

Ray J is threatening to sue Kim for her comment on her Hulu show where she said that Ray J may have stuck a d*ldo up her behind while she was sleeping.
