Christmas Parades and Events

Daily through Jan. 1st – Enjoy the “Festive Forest” in Miller Park, where local companies and non-profits decorate and display their own tree. It’s sponsored by The Better Business Bureau, and free to enjoy.
Nightly through Dec. 25th – Christmas Lights in East Ridge are all lit up, from 5:30pm until 10pm every night of the week. From Ringgold Road, turn onto Belvoir, then turn onto Fountain Avenue. Enjoy the lights for free, but a canned good or a small donation for the Forgotten Child Fund would be appreciated. Fountain Avenue in East Ridge.
Saturday Dec. 13th – The Red Bank Christmas Parade and Festival will be from 3pm til
8pm. The parade will start at 6:00 Saturday night, along Dayton Boulevard near Red
Bank Park.
Saturday Dec. 13th – “Christmas In The Country” will be at McDonald Farm, from 10
until 4, on the 13th. Handmade arts and crafts will be available to buy as gifts, lots of
twinkling lights, Christmas carolers, and lots more… McDonald Farm in Sale Creek,
“Christmas In The Country” on December 13th.
Saturday Dec. 13th – the Chickamauga Christmas Parade starts at 7pm, in downtown
Chickamauga. Festive floats and lots of twinkling lights. On Saturday night the 13th.
Sunday Dec. 14th – The Collegedale Christmas Parade will start at 3:00 on Sunday the
14th; floats, marching bands, antique cars, dancers and more will travel through the
campus of Southern Adventist University. It will end on College Drive East. That’s
Sunday the 14th.
The St. Elmo Luminaria Festival is Saturday, Dec. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. The Virginia Avenue Greenway between 44th + 55th streets will glow during this event featuring live music and performances, art installations, a holiday market, and a visit from Santa. Proceeds benefit Chattanooga’s Humane Educational Society
