Here’s When to Book Your Holiday Flights to Get the Best Price

It’s early October, which means it’s the perfect time to start thinking about holiday travel plans. (???) No, really. Hear me out . . .

Google just shared five years of data from Google Flights to help people figure out when they should book their Thanksgiving and Christmas travel to get the best deals.

For Thanksgiving, Google found that ticket prices tend to be the lowest about 34 days beforehand. Thanksgiving is on November 26th this year, which means the best deals should be available on or around October 23rd.

Christmas requires even more planning ahead. Prices are the lowest about 56 days before the holiday. So the best deals should be available around October 30th.

If you’re planning to travel for the holidays this year, this is your heads-up to set a calendar reminder for two to three weeks from RIGHT NOW.
