If You Share a Bed, You Should Each Have Your Own Blanket

Have you ever heard of the Scandinavian Sleep Method? The idea is simple: Two people, one bed, two blankets. (It’s been floating around the internet for a few years.)
Basically, if you share a bed with someone, sharing one blanket can wreck your sleep. What if one person runs hot and the other gets cold? What happens when one of you rolls over and rips the covers off the other?
In places like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, most couples do not share a blanket. (Is this why they are always listed as happier?)
Sleep experts say blanket movement is one of the biggest reasons people wake up during the night. But with separate blankets, each person controls their own comfort, temperature, and movement.
Some say it sounds less romantic. But others say that better sleep means better moods overall and less arguing.
