Back Alley Productions is holding Open Auditions, for its upcoming production of “The Time Machine”, based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells. Auditions are in person this Thursday the 16th or this Friday the 17th, at 6:30pm, at The Mars Theatre in Lafayette.
Students 14 through 18 who are interested in photography are invited to show off their best pictures, in the Youth Photography Showcase. It’s sponsored by the Photographic Society of Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Music Club will perform a free concert, this Sunday January 19th, at 3:00, at First Cumberland Presbyterian in Brainerd. The music will feature the harp, piano, and organ, and very talented singers as well. And everyone is welcome to stay for a free reception after the performance, as well. The National Military Park needs volunteers to help on the Martin Luther King Junior Day Of Service. This Monday the 20th, from 8:30 until 12:30, volunteers can help with clean-up and trail maintenance; dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes or boots; your tools and supplies will be provided.
