/1- Sunny 92.3 will co-sponsor the next “Shred Day”- it’s April 5th from 9am until 12noon at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company on Shepherd Road. This is a good way to protect yourself from identity theft, by destroying your private documents. Everyone is allowed up to 3 trash bags full of personal papers, and up to 4 hard drives. Computers, monitors, and outdated prescription drugs are also allowed that morning. That’s “Shred Day”, April 5th at 9am at the Coca-Cola Building off 153. /2- The Collegedale AIRPORT will host its next Movie Night, Saturday March 29th. The yard games will start at 4:30 that day, and the family-friendly Dr. Seuss movie “The Lorax” will start at 6:30. /3- The McKamey Animal Shelter’s fundraising Gala is April 4th at The Westin Chattanooga. The evening will feature dinner, two auctions, a “snuggle area” with adoptable puppies and kittens, and so much more. /4- Your Chattanooga Lookouts’ first home game of the new season is April 8th. Tickets are available now at Lookouts.com.
/5- Ruby Falls is teaming with the American Heart Association this month, for “One Million Steps”! When you visit Ruby Falls in March, with regular admission price, your steps will literally be counted, with a goal of One Million. The Heart Association says walking is good for your heart, and the average visitor walks 3,800 steps while visiting The Falls and the Overlooks. Every step counts, this month, with The American Heart Association, at Ruby Falls.
