Children’s Hospital At Erlanger needs miniature Christmas trees, to decorate the hospital rooms of their young patients. You can drop off a mini-tree on Dec. 5th and 6th from 8am til 4pm. There will be a table near the entrance of the hospital, downtown, to make it easy for you. That’s Dec. 5th and 6th.

Junior League of Chattanooga will host their annual “Touch-A-Truck Day”, Saturday November 16th at Warner Park. This fun event is from 9am til 1pm, and gives kids a chance to literally explore and climb on big trucks, such as ambulances, dump trucks, farm machinery, and more. It’s $5 a person, benefitting The Junior League. Sat. the 16th.

Goodwill Of Chattanooga is partnering with Dell and E.P.B., to recycle electronics.. Friday Nov. 15th, you can recycle computers, monitors, keyboards, cell phones, scanners, and more. For a list of drop-off points for your electronics, visit online GoodwillChatt.org/donate

The Salvation Army hopes you volunteer to “Ring The Bell” at their Red Kettles this holiday. The needs in our community become bigger every year, and Red Kettle donations help the Salvation Army provide gifts, food, shelter, and clothing. Food City is sponsoring its annual “Pets In Need Food Drive”.. Through the holiday season, you can purchase a “Pet Box”, which contains pet food and pet items. 100% of those Pet Boxes will go to local animal rescue shelters. That’s at all Food City locations through the holidays.
