1-/ The Chattanooga River Games are this Friday through Sunday, August 15th through the 17th, at Ross’ Landing ….. Athletes from dozens of states will compete in wake-surfing, high-diving, kayaking, paddle-boarding, rock-climbing, and much more. Plus a live DJ and lots of family fun. It’s free to watch, this weekend, at Ross’ Landing in downtown Chattanooga.

2-/ The Hamilton County Fair will be November 7th through the 9th at McDonald Farm. Diamond Rio will perform, as well as Brandon Davis, Amber Carrington, and others. Rides, a rodeo, a lumberjack show, and much more are planned, and tickets are already available at HamiltonTNFair.com.. AND you can sign up to volunteer as well. HamiltonTNFair.com

3-/ The final home game for the Chattanooga Roller Derby team is this Saturday, August 16th at Camp Jordan Arena. Games are at 3:00. 5:00, and 7:00, and one ticket lets you stay the entire afternoon. This Saturday the 16th at Camp Jordan Arena.

4-/ The American Cancer Society’s big fundraiser, Relay For Life, is set for September 20th in downtown Cleveland, from 2 til 9pm. 5-/ The Hotel Chalet at the Chattanooga Choo Choo has just been named one of the Top 10 Classic Train Station Hotels by USA Today.

6-/ The Tennessee Highway Safety Office has named The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as #1 in the “Best Looking Cruiser Contest”. Their vehicle was voted as the best in the state, and wins the prize for the second year in a row.
