– The first Friday of every February is “National Wear Red Day” with the American Heart Association. Ladies, heart disease is the #1 killer of women in America. – Be a part of the annual “Cupid’s Chase 5K” on Saturday February 8th, at the Riverpark on Amnicola. You’ll be raising money AND awareness about housing and job opportunities for those with disabilities. Register today online at CupidsChase.org, and click “Tennessee”. Strollers and pets are welcome.

– The McKamey Animal Center Gala is set for April 4th at the Westin Hotel, downtown. This is a huge fund-raiser that focuses on love and compassion for all the animals that McKamey serves. – Help pick up litter in Red Bank, Saturday February 8th from 10am until 12:30. Meet at Be-Caffeinated at 3601 Dayton Boulevard at 9:30 that morning, and dress warmly with good sturdy shoes. You’ll be given everything you need to help pick up litter in Red Bank. That’s the Red Bank Clean Up Day, February 8th.

– Erlanger is hosting a new program called “Look Good, Feel Better”, and it helps women who are currently going through cancer treatment to … “Look Good And Feel Better”.
