The dress Judy Garland wore in the 1939 classic “The Wizard of Oz” has been found in a college drama department junk room. The dress had been loaned out in the 1970s and was forgotten about, until construction revealed the dress in a trash bag. It has been given back to the Smithsonian Institution.  

41% of Hamilton County residents have received their Covid 19 vaccination. The Health Department continues giving free vaccinations Monday Through Saturday at the Tennessee Riverpark on Amnicola Highway. The shots are free, with no appointment necessary, for ages 12 and older.
