The “Catoosa Business Expo” is this Thursday, Nov. 9th, from 10 until 2, at the Colonnade, off Battlefield Parkway. More than 90 businesses and non-profits will be represented, and admission is free. Lots of prizes and food samples too. This Thursday at the Colonnade.

Santa comes to Hamilton Place, beginning this Friday November 10th; The Jasper Christmas Parade will be December 9th at 6pm; the Meigs County Christmas Parade is set for December 1st; The Red Bank Christmas Parade and Festival will be December 1st from 4pm til 9pm; and the East Ridge Christmas Parade is November 18th at 6:30pm.

The Veterans Day Parade in Fort Oglethorpe is this Saturday November 11th at 2:00, beginning at the Big Lots.

Point Park will waive its entrance fee, this Saturday the 11th, for Veterans Day. You’re invited to explore the trails on Lookout Mountain for free, from 8:30 until 5, Saturday.

The “Fall Colors And Crafts Festival” is this Saturday, Nov. 11th, from 11 until 5 in Coolidge Park. Admission is free with live music, bouncy houses, food trucks, and a Veterans Celebration. This Saturday in Coolidge Park.

McKamey Animal Center has a wish list for the animals, and you can help. Their biggest needs are new or gently-used chew toys in all sizes, unopened boxes of dog treats, also peanut butter, and new or gently-used blankets / sheets / towels / and washclothes. Drop off your donation AT McKamey on Access Road, off Hixson Pike. They have drop-off bins outside their front door in case you can’t get there during business hours.

The Lighted Boat Parade AND Reindeer On The Riverfront are set for Friday November 24th, at Ross’ Landing, from 4 until 8pm.. There will be live reindeer, photos with Santa, the boat parade, and fireworks too. The night after Thanksgiving, at Ross’ Landing. Free.
