Oprah’s “Favorite Things”

Oprah dropped her annual Favorite Things holiday gift guide. As usual, it contains way too many things for her to have actually tried . . . or even heard of . . . herself. But still . . .

There’s plenty of affordable stuff on the list, but rich people shop for the holidays too, right? That’s why it includes a $2,000 espresso machine, and a $700 indoor pizza oven.

(Are pizza ovens worth it, given that everyone already has an oven anyway? Why does pizza need its own special oven? Any pizza oven aficionados wanna clue us in?)

Perhaps the most absurd item on the list is a $60 pair of anti-fog reading glasses . . . for the SHOWER.

Why does one need reading glasses in the shower? Well, to quote whoever wrote this : “Anyone who’s tried to read deep conditioner instructions after it’s on will appreciate a pair.” (???)
