Six Things You Shouldn’t Do at a Theme Park

Labor Day weekend is here! Is anyone thinking about going to a theme park? One last hurrah before summer finally ends?

The roller-coasters are always fun, but sometimes people’s behavior is not the best. So, according to etiquette experts, here are some things you should NOT do at a theme park:

1. Cutting in line. A group in line can let their one friend in. But not vice versa.

2. Stopping or turning abruptly in a walkway. (Here’s a video breaking down how people walk at Disney.)

3. Making someone go on a ride. This is supposed to be a fun day. If someone doesn’t want to go on the Sooper Dooper Looper, they shouldn’t have to.

4. Being impatient. There are people everywhere, and everyone is waiting. You just have to chill.

5. Blocking people’s views, especially kids. If you are tall, you can stand towards the back.

6. Getting disrespectful with park characters. This is a major no-no. Most of those characters are beloved to the children in the park.
