This Woman is Allergic To Her Husband

Alex Murphy Klein learned her body was immunologically incompatible with husband Paul’s DNA after unsuccessful conception attempts. The couple married in 2023 and expected pregnancy to happen “quickly and easily,” Alex told ITV’s This Morning. After one year without success and failed IVF, doctors diagnosed unexplained infertility with no medical issues found. At-home blood tests from Fertilysis revealed Alex’s genetic predisposition made her immune system attack Paul’s DNA. “It sounds like a crazy headline,” Alex said, explaining her immune system “put the brakes on and said, ‘Let’s attack this.’” Paul called the discovery both relief and emotional hurdle, saying the journey left him feeling “helpless” at times. The couple began LIT therapy, injecting processed samples of Paul’s blood into Alex. “It’s like immunotherapy,” Alex explained. Results are still pending.
