There is a big Car Show, this Saturday Oct. 28th from 10am until 2pm; it will be held at East Hamilton High School, and it’s absolutely free. Enjoy lots of music, food trucks, drawings for prizes, and fabulous cars! This Saturday at East Hamilton High School, 10am til 2pm.
“Wreaths Across Chattanooga” is still collecting money to purchase one wreath for each grave, of a fallen hero who is buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The price is just $10 per wreath, and you can drop a check in the mail, made out to Wreaths Across Chattanooga. The address is 525 West Main Street, Chattanooga 37402. They are hoping to raise $30,000 to buy 3,000 wreaths. (There are 50,000 grave sites at our National Cemetery, btw).
The Hamilton County Fair will be November 10th, 11th, and 12th, at its new location – The McDonald Farm in Sale Creek. Enjoy a rodeo, lumberjack demonstrations, live music, and much more. Tickets are $12 for ALL 3 days, and kids 10 and under will be free.
The Cleveland Christmas Parade will be on December 2nd, and will begin at Bradley Central High School. It will travel the 3-mile route through Downtown Cleveland, beginning at 6pm.
There will be a “litter clean up” at Wolftever Boat Ramp, at 9am this Saturday Oct. 28th. Clear out the litter on the land AND in the water, by paddleboard. This will be sponsored by Outshine Adventures, this Saturday morning.
This Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27th and 28th, will be the final nights for “Boo In The Zoo”, at the Chattanooga Zoo. This is family-friendly, with trick or treating, costume contests, scavenger hunts & more. Tickets are online only, at ChattZoo.org, for $15 each.
