      /- The “Autism Celebration Walk” is set for Saturday, April 11, in Coolidge Park. This big fund-raiser helps the Chattanooga Autism Center and all of the special programs they offer. Register now online at ChattAutismWalk.com. Again that’s April 11, in Coolidge Park.

  /-McKamey Animal Center is taking some of the animals from the shelter and will have a special adoption event, AT Pet Smart on Highway 153, this Saturday and Sunday. From 11 until 3 both days, you can get to know some of the animals, AND see if one might be perfect for YOUR family. That’s McKamey Animal Center AT the Hixson Pet Smart, this weekend.

    /- The Hamilton County Primary Election is May5, and Early Voting will be April 15 through April 30. Get the locations and all the details online at Elect.HamiltonTN.gov or call (423) 209-VOTE.

    /- The annual Kids Fishing Derby will be held at the Athens, Tennessee Regional Park, on Decatur Pike. It’s set for Saturday April 18 from 7am until 11am, and prizes will be awarded to the young winners. This is for kids 12 and under, and they do NOT need a fishing license to take part in the fun that day.

    /- The “4 Bridges Arts Festival” is coming up April 18 & 19, at the First Horizon Pavilion, next to Finley Stadium. At least 140 national artists will be in town that weekend, to show AND to sell their artwork. Tickets will be $6 on the days of the Arts Festival, from 10am until 6pm both days.

    /- “Denim and Diamonds” is Friday April 10 at the Collegedale Commons. Proceeds from the night will benefit “Project Access”, which helps thousands of uninsured members in the community. The theme this year is “Bluegrass and Bar-B-Q”, and tickets are available at ChattMD.org
