On Monday (November 14th), Christina Applegate made an emotional appearance at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles. This event marked the Dead to Me actress' first public appearance since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021.

Applegate's Married…with Children costars Katey Sagal and David Faustino honored her prior to her acceptance speech. Sagal choked up as she told Applegate, "You're not alone. We're all here."

At the podium, the Sweetest Thing actress broke into tears and thanked her daughter for her support. "The most important person in this world is my daughter," she said. "You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting. I'm blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school…thank you for standing by me through all of this."

Applegate also called those in attendance "gorgeous," telling them, "Every single one of you. I love you all so much."

As the host of next year's Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel told Extra he won't be shying away from addressing Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at this year's event.

"It's got to come up in some way," he told the outlet. "You know, I don't want to really make light of it necessarily, because it wasn't light to comedians. You know, comedians are mad about it… It's like, it's one of those things that for a group of people that find everything funny, it's, like, not funny, you know?"

This will mark Kimmel's third time hosting the award show. "But of course… when they read the wrong winner one year when I hosted the Oscars, we had to make mention of that the next year," he said.

Meanwhile, 2022 Oscars co-host Regina Hall spoke with Entertainment Tonight about Kimmel hosting in 2023. "I think it's really a bad idea. No, I'm joking," she said. The Girls Trip actress added, "We'll make sure Jimmy's got something on so he don't get injured onstage and nobody comes up out the audience. But I think it's gonna be a fun show and he's tried and true, so I'm excited to see what he's gonna do."

Apparently, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger were bitter rivals in the 1990s. The Rambo actor opened up about their feud on The Jonathan Ross Show recently.

"We couldn't stand to be in the same galaxy together for a while," Stallone said. "We truly, truly loathed each other."

He also shared how Schwarzenegger convinced him to take a role in the "piece of s—t" film, 1992's Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.

"He's quite clever. He goes around town saying, ‘I can't wait to do this film.' I go to my agent, ‘Get that thing away from him. Get people options on me.' "

The Rocky actor continued, "I got it, and I said, ‘What a piece of s—t this is.' He goes, ‘Ha, ha, ha!' "

"At least I wasn't pregnant in a film, Arnold," Stallone added. "We're even."

PETE DAVIDSON AND EMILY RATAJKOWSKI ARE REPORTEDLY DATING: Romance may be brewing between Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski. A source told Us Weekly that the pair have been "talking for a couple months now," and that they are "in the very early stages, but both really like each other." The Saturday Night Live star and Gone Girl actress were also reportedly spotted holding hands in Brooklyn on Saturday night (November 12th).

GISELE BUNDCHEN SPOTTED IN COSTA RICA WITH JIU-JITSU INSTRUCTOR: According to Page Six, it looks like Gisele Bundchen could be moving on from her divorce from Tom Brady. The model was photographed in Provincia de Puntarenas with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente Saturday (November 12th). However, a source told the outlet that the dating rumors are "completely false." The source said, "Joaquim and his two brothers have instructed Gisele and the children in martial arts for the past year and a half." Their relationship is "strictly platonic and professional," the source added.

MARGOT ROBBIE WAS ‘NOT CRYING' OVER CARA DELEVIGNE IN PAPARAZZI PHOTOS: In a cover story for Vanity Fair, Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie addressed the paparazzi photos that were released in September, in which she appeared to be crying after reportedly leaving Cara Delevigne's house. "I had something in my eye," she told the outlet. "I'm trying to grab my face mask, trying to hold a coffee cup and I couldn't get a hair outta my eye." The Barbie actress added that she was actually "not at Cara's house" when the photos were taken, but rather she was "outside an Airbnb that she was renting for five days." After seeing the photos, Robbie's mother, Sarie Kessler, called to see if she and Delevigne were all right. "Yes and yes," the Bombshell star said.

COLE HAUSER SAYS KEVIN COSTNER TAUGHT HIM TO BE A ‘GENTLEMAN' ON THE SET OF ‘YELLOWSTONE:' Cole Hauser is grateful for what he's learned from his onscreen father-in-law Kevin Costner. "What surprised me about Costner is just what kind of human being he is," the Yellowstone actor told Fox News Digital. "Before an actor or as a creative soul is just him as a person. He's from the kind of area in California that I'm from. He's from Ventura. I'm from Santa Barbara. And getting to know him over the last five years, I mean I've learned a lot about just being a gentleman on set and just a class act … He's got a a family. I have three kids, a wonderful wife. WATCH THE TRAILER FOR THE ‘YELLOWSTONE' PREQUEL ‘1923:' Today reports that Paramount+ dropped the teaser trailer for the Yellowstone prequel 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, on Sunday night (November 13th). The 30-second trailer gives glimpses of Mirren and Ford as Cara and Jacob Dutton, as a narrator says, "Violence has always haunted this family. It followed us from the Scottish Highlands and the slums of Dublin, and it followed us here. And where it doesn't follow, we hunt it down. We seek it."

MARGOT ROBBIE'S FEMALE-LED ‘PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN' IS AXED BY DISNEY: Margot Robbie announced via her recent Vanity Fair interview that her female-led Pirates of the Caribbean movie is dead at Disney. "We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led — not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story — which we thought would've been really cool," she told the outlet. "But I guess they don't want to do it." This comes after Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer told The Sunday Times in May, "Yes. We're talking to Margot Robbie. We are developing two Pirates scripts — one with her, one without. Will Depp be back? Not at this point. The future is yet to be decided."

‘SELLING TAMPA' IS CANCELLED AT NETFLIX: According to Page Six, there will not be a second season of Netflix's Selling Tampa, and some of the cast members think racism is the reason why not. "When they show us black women in a different light — when we're bickering, fighting and name-calling — they get a Season 2 and Season 3, but that's not what we were displaying," cast member Juawana Colbert told the outlet. "We know that ‘Selling Tampa' was No. 1 in multiple countries, and it did fairly well. Obviously, it's not going to be a ‘Selling Sunset' Season 5. … It's just weird. All of a sudden this all-black cast doesn't even get a chance for a Season 2."

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR ‘EMPIRE OF LIGHT:' Searchlight Pictures released the trailer for Empire of Light on Monday (November 14th), starring Olivia Colman and Michael Ward. In the film, set to be released on December 9th, Colman's Hillary meets Ward's Stephen while working at The Empire cinema. According to The A.V. Club, the film is set during the time of "the 1981 Brixton Riots and the rise of the far-right fascist National Front party."

In a recent interview with Variety, Christina Applegate said that her starring role on Dead to Me could be her last, due to the multiple sclerosis diagnosis she received in 2021.

"Jen Harding is the one, who — who knows, quite possibly the last one I'll play," she told the outlet. "With my disease, I don't know how capable I am. But this was a gift. This was a gift to me."

The Married … with Children actress shared that she learned was she was "capable of doing" while filming the final season of the Netflix series. "It had to be cold, because heat is our kryptonite. Can't work those 18-hour days, you know? It was impossible," she said.

Dave Chappelle hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time over the weekend and took aim at Kanye "Ye" West's antisemitic comments during his 15-minute opening monologue. The comedian has been embroiled in controversy of his own since making transphobic remarks on his Netflix special The Closer—something that he did not address directly.

Pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket, Chappelle said that he wanted to read a "brief statement" that he prepared. "I denounce antisemitism in all its forms and I stand with my friends in the Jewish community — and that, Kanye, is how you buy yourself some time," he joked.

The Half Baked actor continued, "I've been to Hollywood, and this is just what I saw: It's a lot of Jews, like a lot. But that doesn't mean anything, you know what I mean? There's a lot of Black people in Ferguson, Missouri, but that doesn't mean we run the place."

Some are criticizing Chappelle for downplaying the severity of West's comments. Jonathan Greenblatt, the head of the Anti-Defamation League, wrote on Twitter, "We shouldn't expect @DaveChappelle to serve as society's moral compass, but disturbing to see @nbcsnl not just normalize but popularize #antisemitism. Why are Jewish sensitivities denied or diminished at almost every turn? Why does our trauma trigger applause?"

Emma Thompson opened up to The New Yorker recently about how she felt finding out about her ex-husband Kenneth Branagh's affair with Helena Bonham Carter in the 1990s. The Love Actually actress said her emotional state was like "shattered dishes," and that she was humiliated.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever broke records at the domestic box office over the weekend, bringing in $180 million. The highly anticipated sequel took the title for the best opening in the month of November, usurping The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which held the record for nine years. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is also the third-highest grossing film during the pandemic era, behind Spider-Man: No Way Home at $260.1 million and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at $187.4 million. It is expected to hold the top spot at the domestic box office until Avatar: The Way of Water arrives in December, according to Deadline.

BUDD FRIEDMAN DIES AT 90: Budd Friedman, the founder of The Improv Comedy Club franchise, died of heart failure on Saturday (November 12th) at age 90. Hollywood Improv wrote on Twitter, "The comedy world lost a giant today. In 1963 he changed the world of comedy by creating the first comedy club for the masses to come together in laughter. In 1963 he changed the world. He went global. He was a pioneer. He was a gentleman. He was a luminary." According to Variety, stars like Jay Leno, Robert Klein, Bette Midler, Richard Pryor and Andy Kaufman all performed at Friedman's comedy club in New York, and he helped launch the careers of comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Jimmy Fallon, Larry David, Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Lily Tomlin.

ALEC BALDWIN FILES ‘RUST' LAWSUIT TO ‘CLEAR HIS NAME:' Deadline reports that, just days before the Santa Fe District Attorney is expected to announce possible charges regarding the fatal Rust shooting, Alec Baldwin has filed a lawsuit against members the film's crew: armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, first assistant director David Halls, property master Sarah Zachry, and weapons and rounds supplier Seth Kenney. "This tragedy happened because live bullets were delivered to the set and loaded into the gun, Gutierrez-Reed failed to check the bullets or the gun carefully, Halls failed to check the gun carefully and yet announced the gun was safe before handing it to Baldwin, and Zachry failed to disclose that Gutierrez-Reed had been acting recklessly off set and was a safety risk to those around her," the lawsuit reads. The actor's lawyer added, "More than anyone else on that set, Baldwin has been wrongfully viewed as the perpetrator of this tragedy. By these Cross-Claims, Baldwin seeks to clear his name and hold Cross-Defendants accountable for their misconduct."

‘BONES AND ALL' RED CARPET SHUT DOWN DUE TO OVERCROWDING: According to Variety, the red carpet for the Milan premiere of Bones and All was shut down on Saturday night (November 12th) due to an influx of Timothee Chalamet fans. Local police cancelled the red-carpet event due to safety concerns, but the screening went ahead as scheduled.

‘YELLOWSTONE' CREATOR RESPONDS TO CLAIMS THAT THE SERIES IS A ‘RED-STATE SHOW:' Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the hit Paramount series Yellowstone, responded to criticism that the series is a "red-state show" in the December issue of The Atlantic. "They refer to it as 'the conservative show' or 'the Republican show' or 'the red-state Game of Thrones,'" Sheridan said. "And I just sit back laughing. I'm like, 'Really?' The show's talking about the displacement of Native Americans and the way Native American women were treated and about corporate greed and the gentrification of the West, and land-grabbing. That's a red-state show?"

Jason Momoa showed off his man buns on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday (November 9th), stripping down to reveal a traditional Hawaiian loincloth called a malo. A video of Momoa wearing nothing but the malo while fishing on a boat went viral last month.

"I'm a creator, writer, director, producer and actor on this Apple series called 'Chief of War,'" Momoa explained. "It's all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. That's what I wear every day, and I was just getting ready for the role. I like to get into character, so I was tanning my white a--," he said.

Hilary Duff is not happy with Ballast Books, the publisher of Aaron Carter's posthumous memoir that's expected to hit shelves next week. The Lizzie McGuire star spoke to The Daily Mail Thursday (November 10th), after The New York Post published an excerpt from the book that claims she and Carter "lost their virginity to each other" on "maybe her 13th" birthday.

"It's really sad that within a week of Aaron's death, there's a publisher that seems to be recklessly pushing a book out to capitalize on this tragedy without taking appropriate time or care to fact check the validity of his work," Duff told the outlet.

"To water down Aaron's life story to what seems to be unverified click-bait for profit is disgusting," she added. "In no way do I condone shedding any light on what is so obviously an uninformed, heartless, money grab."

Following the release of Matthew Perry's memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, Austin Powers actress Elizabeth Hurley commented on what a "nightmare" it was to work with him in the early aughts. The pair starred in the 2002 film Serving Sara together.

"I haven't actually read the book yet, but I've read excerpts of it," Hurley told Yahoo! recently. "It's quite interesting. He's a very funny writer like he's a very funny man. He's an incredibly gifted comedian … his way with words is fantastic."

However, despite her "fond memories of him," she said, "To be honest, it was a nightmare working with him at that time and, as it's now known, our movie was shut down because of his addiction. We were in a force majeure and had to all sit at home twiddling our thumbs for some time."

Hurley added, "It was tough, obviously he was having a tough time, but he was still very charming and a lovely person to work with. But you could see he was suffering for sure."

In a Variety cover story published Wednesday (November 9th), Letitia Wright recalled going into a "downward spiral" following the death of her Black Panther costar Chadwick Boseman. She told the outlet she had trouble accepting the news of his death at first.

"I was like, 'Yo, I think everybody's tripping right now. I'm giving you like five seconds to tell me that this is not real,' " she said, sharing that she called Daniel Kaluuya when she couldn't get ahold of Boseman. "He was super silent. I was like, 'OK, fine, if you're not gonna tell me, I'm going to continue calling Chad until he picks up.' "

As she continued trying to reach Boseman, Kaluuya asked her, "What are you doing?" Wright replied, "I'm calling Chad." To this, Kaluuya said, "Tish, his family …"

The Death on the Nile actress also expressed how devastating it was for her to miss Boseman's memorial service due to COVID-19. "It haunted me for months that I couldn't say goodbye to him or be around my Black Panther family to share in that moment," she said. "I kind of had to do that by myself."

Apparently, Millie Bobby Brown isn't keen on kissing her Stranger Things costar Finn Wolfhard. The Enola Holmes 2 actress sat down for a lie detector test with Vanity Fair recently and admitted that Wolfhard is a "lousy kisser."

Halfway through the lie detector test, the interviewer asked Brown, "You exclaimed ‘kissing sucks' after your first kiss with Finn Wolfhard. Is Finn just a lousy kisser?"

Brown answered matter-of-factly, "He is." The test administrator confirmed she was telling the truth.

RAINN WILSON CHANGES HIS NAME TO ‘RAINNFALL HEAT WAVE EXTREME WINTER WILSON:' Rainn Wilson, the actor who played Dwight Schrute on The Office, announced on Wednesday (November 9th) that he has changed his name to protest climate change. In a video posted to Twitter, he said, "With the help of my scientist friends at Arctic Basecamp, I've changed my name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson … This is not a joke, I'm as serious as the melting Arctic, which amplifies global risks including extreme weather events around the globe."

CHRIS EVANS IS REPORTEDLY DATING ALBA BAPTISTA: According to People, 2022's Sexiest Man Alive isn't on the market. A source told the outlet that Chris Evans has been dating Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris actress Alba Baptista "for over a year and it's serious." The source added, "They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her."

SYLVESTER STALLONE SAYS BRUCE WILLIS HAS BEEN ‘INCOMMUNICADO' SINCE APHASIA DIAGNOSIS: Sylvester Stallone talked to The Hollywood Reporter recently, providing an update on his longtime friend Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with aphasia earlier this year. "Bruce is going through some really, really difficult times," Stallone said. "So he's been sort of incommunicado. That kills me. It's so sad."

KRIS JENNER CONVINCED RIPLEY'S TO LET KIM WEAR MARILYN MONROE'S DRESS: On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed that Ripley's Believe It Or Not wasn't going to let her wear Marilyn Monroe's dress to the Met Gala—until Kris Jenner called them. "I flew all the way to Florida to try on the Marilyn dress at Ripley's," Kim said. "They were not gonna let me wear this dress, they were not even gonna let me try it on until Kris Jenner calls... Doja Cat called out new Twitter owner, Elon Musk this week when she was having problems with her account. Doja changes her account name to match the holidays and since Musk made some changes to the platform she was stuck with the name - Christmas.

One of Twitter's new policies makes it so that existing verified users can't change their display names anymore. As she was figuring it out, she immediately went online and gave him a cussing and asked him for help at the same time.

After a few tweets back and forth, they seemed to get things worked out and in the end, looks like she'll be able to change her name again once Christmas is over.

PAUL HAGGIS FOUND LIABLE FOR $7.5 MILLION IN RAPE LAWSUIT: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Crash screenwriter Paul Haggis was ordered by a jury to pay $7.5 million to Haleigh Breest, the woman who accused him of rape following a screening afterparty in 2013. During the trial, Breest said, "I thought I was getting a ride home. I agreed to have a drink. What happened never should have happened. And it had nothing to do with me, and everything to do with him and his actions."

CHRIS ROCK WILL BE THE FIRST COMEDIAN TO DO A LIVE PERFORMANCE ON NETFLIX: Deadline reports that Netflix will be making use of its live streaming technology in 2023. The first person to test it out will be Chris Rock. Netflix's VP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats Robbie Praw said, "This will be an unforgettable moment and we're so honored that Chris is carrying this torch."

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4:' The official trailer for John Wick: Chapter Four has arrived. According to Variety, Keanu Reeves' Wick must face off against Bill Skarsgård's Marquis de Gramont in order to win his freedom. The action-packed film is expected to reach theaters on March 24th, 2023.

MANDY MOORE TO STAR IN ‘TWIN FLAMES:' According to TVLine, Mandy Moore is set to star in the Hulu series Twin Flames, based on the Wondery podcast by the same name. She will be reuniting with two This Is Us executive producers on the project: Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker. The show focuses on the true story of two women who, according to the outlet, "become heavily wrapped up in the online teachings of a couple who espouse the idea that everyone has a soulmate — or a ‘twin flame' — and that absolutely nothing should get in the way of twin flames uniting."

Jennifer Aniston admitted to Allure for their latest cover story that she was trying to get pregnant in her late 30s and 40s.  

The Friends alum told the outlet, “All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.” 

However, the 53-year-old said that she has “zero regrets.” She added, “I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram Wednesday to share support for her Picture Perfect costar as she shared her struggles with IVF.  The pregnant Flight Attendant star wrote in her Stories, “You never know what people are going through behind the scenes. . . stop assuming and judging every little Thing!  @jenniferaniston thank you for sharing this story.”

Christina Applegate refused to let producers pull the plug on Dead to Me after receiving her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis.  

Variety reports that the Married with Children alum could barely walk and would take a wheel chair to the set for the final season.  

She told the outlet, “We have to finish this story. It’s too important to our hearts; too important to our souls. And we have to give this gift, not only to ourselves — there are people that love these characters, and we’ve got to let them have their closure too.’ So, if that meant me having to take a break in the middle of the day so I could go sleep — or me just leaving because I couldn’t do anymore — then that’s what we had to do.”

The star said that despite her diagnosis, she still wants to keep working.  Applegate explained, “It’s about finding what I’m capable of doing.  I’m so new in this right now.  It takes time to kind of figure out this disease and figure out what’s bringing on symptoms.”

For now, she’s just “enjoying being a mother” and building up her stamina by riding her Peleton.  

Sean Penn has gifted one of his two Oscar trophies to Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Penn told Zelenskyy in a video posted by the Ukranian President, “It’s just a symbolic silly thing, but if I know this is here then I’ll feel better and strong enough for the fights. When you win, bring it back to Malibu, because I’ll feel much better knowing there’s a piece of me here.”

Zelenskyy in return gave the activist the Order of Merit honor “for his sincere support and significant contribution to the popularization of Ukraine in the world.”

IT TOOK DAN LEVY 11 TRIES TO GET HIS LICENSE: Dan Levy took 11 attempts to get his driver’s license.  The Schitt’s Creek creator admitted in a sneak peak of The Big Brunch shared with E! on Wednesday (November 9th), “I get very nervous.  I turned left when I was supposed to turn right. Got up onto the curb while I parallel parked.” His new cooking competition series premieres Thursday (November 10th) on HBO Max.  

DAVE BAUTISTA SAYS DANIEL CRAIG WAS MORE FUN ON THE SET OF 'GLASS ONION': David Bautista, who starred with Daniel Craig in both Spectre and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery says that the James Bond actor was much more relaxed when playing detective Benoit Blanc.  The Guardians of the Galaxy star told Entertainment Weekly, “He was really put through it on Bond.  You could feel  that he was under a lot of pressure. He didn’t seem like the happiest person on Bond, but on Glass Onion, it was the complete opposite. He was just so much fun, and he was always smiling and happy and interacted a lot more.”

LESLIE JONES SAID SHE WAS TROLLED FOR 'GHOSTBUSTERS': Leslie Jones said the internet trolls came after her for starring in the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot with Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon.  The 55-year-old told Laverne Cox on If We’re Being Honest that the abuse ranged from people spitting on her picture, to hanging her character’s action figure, to death threats that targeted her and her family.  She added, “People have to really know how specific this s**t is.  None of the other girls got trolled like I did, and I hate to say it like this, but it was because I was a black woman.  And I hate to say that.”

REBEL WILSON WAS DEVASTATED TO FIND OUT SHE HAD NO VIABLE EMBRYOS: Rebel Wilson revealed to People that she discovered she had no viable embryos while filming The Almond and The Seahorse.  She told the outlet Wednesday (November 9th), “I’d lost a hue amount of weight and been through three surgeries at that point and no viable embryos.  It was devastating.”  The new mom added, “I knew that my desire to become a mother was so strong that I needed to keep trying.”  Wilson announced Monday that she recently welcomed her first child via surrogate.
