JAMES EARL JONES WILL NO LONGER VOICE DARTH VADER IN ‘STAR WARS' FILMS: Today reports that James Earl Jones has signed off to allow Lucasfilms to use archival voice recordings for future films in the Star Wars franchise. Lucasfilm sound editor Matthew Wood said, "He had mentioned he was looking into winding down this particular character. So how do we move forward?" The company will be using Respeecher, which Today writes is "a Ukrainian startup that uses AI technology to craft new conversations from revitalized old voice recordings."

MARVEL STUDIOS PRESIDENT COMMENTS ON THE DECISION TO NOT RECAST KING T'CHALLA IN ‘BLACK PANTHER' SEQUEL: Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told Empire Magazine why they decided against recasting King T'Challa in the Black Panther sequel Wakanda Forever, following Chadwick Boseman's tragic death in 2020. "It just felt like it was much too soon to recast," he said. "Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. 'Don't Worry Darling' Crew Releases Statement Denying 'Screaming Match' Between Olivia Wilde And Florence Pugh

After Vulture reported on Friday (September 23rd) that Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh got into a "screaming match" on the set of Don't Worry Darling, 40 production and crew members released a statement denying the allegations.

The statement, issued exclusively to People, reads, "As a crew, we've avoided addressing the absurd gossip surrounding the movie we're so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous 'sources' quoted in a recent article. Any allegations about unprofessional behavior on the set of Don't Worry Darling are completely false."

The production and crew members declared, "There was never a screaming match between our director and anyone, let alone a member of our cast." The team also described Wilde as "an incredible leader and director who was present with and involved in every aspect of production," and who "ran this set with class and respect for everyone involved."

On Friday (September 23rd), Pugh shared a post to Instagram saying that she was "grateful" to be part of the movie. "This film was such an epic story on such a large scale to shoot, all while during peak Covid times. For that I will always be grateful. Just ahead of her 50th birthday, Gwyneth Paltrow sat down with CBS News on Sunday (September 25th) to talk about her life and work. The Goop founder commented on her 18-year-old daughter Apple starting college and her "conscious uncoupling" from Coldplay singer Chris Martin.

"I know this sounds nuts, but it feels almost as profound as giving birth," she said about Apple going off to college. Paltrow has not yet revealed where her daughter will be headed in the fall.

As for her relationship with ex-husband Chris Martin, she said, "He's completely my family, and I love him. And he would do anything for me. I would do anything for him. He would do anything for our kids. We really did commit to wanting our children to be as unscathed by the divorce as possible."

The series is based on the true story of a couple who bought and then were forced to abandon a $1.4 million home in New Jersey—after they started receiving letters from someone who claimed to have been "watching" the home for decades. Johnny Depp is dating one of his lawyers. A source told People Thursday (September 22nd) that the Pirates of the Caribbean star is seeing Joelle Rich, who was on the actor's legal team during his libel case against The Sun.

The insider said, "They are dating but it's not serious."

Although she was pary of the team that lost the U.K. libel case in November 2020, she was not involved in the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard earlier this year. She was, however, present in the Virginia courtroom to show "support" for the star.

Armie Hammer's Ex Allegedly Encouraged His Victims To Come Forward So She Could Get Custody Of The Kids

Elizabeth Chambers appears to have encouraged Effie to press charges against her ex-husband, Armie Hammer, so that she could get full custody of their two children.

According to Page Six, Chambers reached out to Effie, the woman who first leveled sexual misconduct charges against the Call Me By Your Name star, and wrote, "I really need custody of my precious children. Do you think you could make a declaration this week? It will all be private. I don't want to pressure you, but your insight is much more in depth than the others we have."

Effie continuously maintained that Hammer was "scaring" her and his other alleged victims into not reporting his behavior, but Chambers assured her that her estranged husband could do "NOTHING" to hurt them.

A representative for Chambers told Page Six, "Given the extent and nature of allegations that were made, Elizabeth sought to determine the veracity of those allegations. She was very sensitive to all parties involved. The safety and well being of their children remains her priority."

Effie told the outlet Thursday (September 22nd), "It's unfortunate that Elizabeth, like the producers of House of Hammer, is looking to profit from others' trauma. She can't call herself a feminist when her ‘best friend' is an abuser. The ones who need healing are the victims – not the abusers."

Tom Hardy secretly competed in and won the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship held at a high school gym in Milton Keynes, England Saturday (September 17th).

According to The Guardian, the Venom star surprised spectators and competitors alike, having signed up under his real name, Edward Hardy.

The organizer of the event says the actor, who won all of his matches, was "humble" and posed for photos with fans.

This isn't the first time Hardy secretly entered a martial arts tournament. In August, he won the REORG Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Wolverhampton, England.

Brad Pitt has launched a genderless skincare line as part of a project with his partners at Chateau Beaucastel.

In an interview with British Vogue published Wednesday (September 21st) the actor explained that the line of products revolves around the properties of grape-based antioxidants and a natural phenol called resveratrol.

The line, called Le Domaine, currently offers four products, The Serum, The Cream, The Fluid Cream and The Cleansing Emulsion – the priciest of which costs $385.

A woman who previously accused Mario Batali of sexual misconduct is going on the record for he first time in Batali: The Fall of a Superstar Chef.

The New York Times, which ran a story on Eva DeVirgilis' claims Wednesday (September 21st), reported that she was one of more than 20 former employees at Batali and colleague Joe Bastianich's restaurants who were awarded a $600,000 settlement for claims of sexual harassment in New York in 2021.

The plaintiff in the child sex abuse lawsuit against Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears has dismissed her case, less than a month after it was filed. The Jane Doe also released a statement on Tuesday (September 20th).

"My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us," she said. "We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us." No comment was made about Aries Spears.

The lawsuit accused Haddish and Spears of sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor regarding a 2014 video sketch they filmed titled "Through a Pedophile's Eyes." Haddish commented on the video earlier this month via social media. "Clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn't funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it," she wrote.

The dismissal was filed with prejudice, meaning it can't be filed again in the future.

On a recent episode of The Conversation: About The Men podcast, Matthew McConaughey opened up about the traumatic experiences he had when he was younger. The Interstellar actor shared that he isn't going to let these past experiences affect his relationships now.

"I'm not gonna be afraid of relationships because my first experience was blackmail. Uh uh. That's an aberration," McConaughey told host Amanda de Cadenet. "And I'm not gonna let it beat me … I'm not gonna let that beat my sense of trust in people and say, 'No, I can have a healthy relationship.' Non-negotiable. No."

McConaughey detailed what he went through in his 2020 memoir Greenlights. "I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was 15," he wrote. "I was molested by a man when I was eighteen while knocked unconscious in the back of a van."

On the podcast, McConaughey said, "Am I gonna carry that? I chose, non-negotiably, I'm not going to carry that, bring that baggage into the life I'm going to lead, and how I treat people and how I trust people, and how I look at circumstances and the risk I may take."

The Dallas Buyers Club actor added that he hasn't sought therapy for these experiences, but he's had "very good friends" and "good mentors" to help him through.

Meghan Markle has reportedly asked King Charles III for a "one-on-one" meeting before she and Prince Harry leave the UK, following Queen Elizabeth II's funeral. According to royal expert Neil Sean, the Suits actress is hoping to "clear the air."

Sean said in a YouTube video, "She'd now like, before they return back to California, to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III."

"That's right, Meghan one-to-one with King Charles III. You heard correct," he said.

The royal expert claimed that Markle made the request via a "formal letter" and that she hopes to get "an opportunity to clear the air, put the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they've been doing over the last two years."
