Michelle Williams recently told Page Six that she always brings Busy Phillips as her plus-one to red carpet events because "It makes it fun."

She told the outlet at the 2022 Gotham Awards on Monday (November 28th), "I don't know if you ever really get used to being on a red carpet. It's a little overwhelming, but then all of a sudden, I look over and see this gal, and I know whatever happens, we're going to have a great time and laugh."

The two have been friends since they met on the set of Dawson's Creek in the late '90s.

Matthew McConaughey Talks Uvalde Six Months Later

Matthew McConaughey opened up to People about aiding his hometown following the Uvalde shooting.

He told the outlet that within 40 seconds of finding out the news that a gunman had killed 21 people, including 19 children, his wife Camila had already decided to get on a plane and head to the Texas town.

The Wolf of Wall Street actor said, "When we went to Uvalde, we both didn't know where or how we would be needed most, but once we arrived it became clear that our connection was with the families — and especially Camila with the mothers. She became a support system for them, and even now, long after we have left, she still maintains that support when needed."

The people of Uvalde, he says, asked them to stick around longer so he brought in his own kids and his older brother Rooster's family.

He told the outlet, "I would say 100 percent of the families we talked to really wanted to embrace. They didn't want a handshake. They would quickly bypass the open hand and just come in for a hug. It was show up and meet their gaze, meet the pressure of their hug and hold on to them as long as they wanted to hold on to you. Some hugs went on for minutes."

Jury Deadlocked In Danny Masterson's Rape Trial

Danny Masterson's rape case has ended in a mistrial.

Deadline reports a judge ruled Wednesday (November 30th) that the "deeply divided" jury was unable to reach a verdict after several days of deliberations.

The That '70s Show star was charged with three counts of rape by force or fear in June 2020, regarding separate incidents of sexual assault against three women that allegedly occurred at Masterson's home between 2001 and 2003.

A tentative retrial date of March 27th has been scheduled, and Masterson remains free on bail of $3.3 million.

Married GMA Co-Anchors T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Allegedly Having Months-Long Affair

Reports say that married Good Morning America co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been involved in an alleged affair and have left their partners to be together. According to Page Six, the romance started in March, just around the time the two began training together for the New York City half-marathon.

A source said that back in August, they allegedly both left their respective spouses after being spotted "canoodling" in bars near ABC News headquarters in May. The two went to extreme lengths to hide thier affair. The source explained, "They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret. The producers at ‘GMA' are shocked to hear they are having an affair."

It's being reported that just two weeks before Thanksgiving, the GMA co-hosts went on a trip to a remote cottage. Robach has since restricted her comments on Instagram. Meanwhile, Holmes' Instagram has been deactivated.

According to The Daily Mail, Robach allegedly split with her husband in August, the same month Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig separated as well.

Jay Leno is getting back out there after suffering third-degree burns from a garage fire. Watch Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford play Cara and Jacob Dutton during "the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west," as described by the streaming platform.

HBO PICKS UP NANCY PELOSI DOCUMENTARY: Deadline reports that the documentary film about Nancy Pelosi made by her daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, is set to air on HBO December 13th. Pelosi in the House was shot over the course of three decades, leading up to the events that unfolded during the January 6th insurrection. This will be Alexandra's 14th film for the network.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON TO STAR IN ‘JUST CAUSE' SERIES FOR AMAZON: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson will play her first lead role on a TV show in Amazon Prime's Just Cause. The series is based on the 1992 novel by John Katzenbach, which had been previously made into a film in 1995 and was one of Johansson's first film roles. She starred as Sean Connery's character's daughter.

TENOCH HUERTA SAYS ‘BULGE' WAS NOT EDITED OUT OF ‘WAKANDA FOREVER:' After someone noticed a discrepancy between Tenoch Huerta's "bulge" in the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the movie, Huerta cleared things up with Rolling Stone. "The only thing that I can say is: the original was the photo in the right," he said. "Without the bulge! That's original." The actor continued, "No, I mean, I'm not going to lie to people. Every man in the world, we have fragile masculinity, but not in that issue." Once again, he confirmed that his "bulge" was not edited out. "I will say, the right one, the real one is the photo on the right," he said.

Irene Cara Dies At 63

Irene Cara, most known for her singing and acting on Flashdance and Fame, has passed away at the age of 63. Cara’s publicist shared the news to her Twitter account Saturday (November 26th).

"It is with profound sadness that on behalf of her family I announce the passing of Irene Cara," the publicist wrote. "The Academy Award winning actress, singer, songwriter, and producer passed away in her Florida home. Her cause of death is currently unknown and will be released when information is available."

Cara won an Oscar and a GRAMMY for co-writing the title track on Flashdance. She also starred as Coco Hernandez in Fame, a musical for which she also wrote and sang the title track.

Flashdance star Jennifer Beals shared a throwback photo of herself with Cara at the Academy Awards to Instagram after the news broke. “Thank you brilliant Irene for your open heart and your fearless triple threat talent. It took a beautiful dreamer to write and perform the soundtracks for those who dare to dream,” she wrote.

Debbie Allen, Viola Davis, Mariah Carey, and Lenny Kravitz also paid tribute to the late actress and singer on social media over the weekend.
