Celebrities took to social media to share their holiday festivities over the long weekend. Jennifer Lopez posted a montage of sweet moments with her family to Instagram Sunday (November 27th), including a snapshot of her daughter Emme sleeping on her during a car ride—and her son Max sleeping on Ben Affleck.

Kate Bosworth and Justin Long enjoyed the fall weather as they ventured outdoors. In photos posted to Bostworth’s Instagram, the pair can be seen at an apple orchard and canoeing on a body of water. “HAPPY THANKSGIVING … So grateful for your warmth and safety and that bright beautiful ever glow @justinlong … you make life so much fun. Xx,” she wrote.

Mandy Moore celebrated her family with an Instagram post, sharing photos of her husband Taylor Goldsmith, her 21-month old son Gus, and her newborn baby Ozzie. “Thankful doesn’t even begin to cover it,” she said.

Chrissy Tiegen shared a carousel of photos to Instagram of her family with John Legend. In one photo, their children, Miles and Luna, sit on a table holding the wishbone.

Millie Bobby Brown posted a vacation reel with her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi, as they spent time poolside. “thankful for many ppl, things, and animals,” she wrote. Jameela Jamil shared a video of herself encouraging everyone to “enjoy [their] food” and “not feel guilty.”

Helena Bonham Carter is getting involved in the controversy. In an interview with The Sunday Times, the Great Expectations actress defended both J.K. Rowling and Johnny Depp.

“It’s horrendous, a load of b——t,” she said, regarding the backlash J.K. Rowling has received for her transphobic remarks. “I think [Rowling] has been hounded. It’s been taken to the extreme, the judgmentalism of people. She’s allowed her opinion, particularly if she’s suffered abuse.”

As for Johnny Depp, whom she starred alongside in multiple films, Carter said his highly publicized trial against Amber Heard left him “completely vindicated.” She added, “My view is that [Heard] got on that pendulum. That’s the problem with these things – that people will jump on the bandwagon because it’s the trend and to be the poster girl for it.”

Former RHOA star Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia tied the knot this weekend and celebrated with two wedding ceremonies in Atlanta. According to People, Porsha and Simon had a traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony on Friday (November 25th). On Saturday (November 26th), the couple tied the knot again in an American wedding at a Methodist Church in front of 350 people. 

According to People, Porsha's second wedding was planned but Eliana Baucicault of Elly B events. Guests included RHOA stars NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey. Comedian Rickey Smiley, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta's Karlie Redd, Married to Medicine's Quad Webb, Basketball Wives' Jennifer Williams and T.I. and Tiny Harris were also in attendance.

Williams, who wore a white lace Frida ballgown, was walked down the aisle with her brother Hosea Williams III. As Porsha walked down the aisle, gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard sang "For Every Mountain" with a gospel choir and 40-piece orchestra.

Ahead of the wedding, Porsha told People, "I definitely want the Lord to be in the place.  I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife. I'm from the south, so I love being in church. I've never been married in a church, and Simon's never been married in a church, so it's going to be a new experience for both of us."

Although they had a ceremony the night before, the couple waited to exchange their wedding bands until they met each other at the altar on Saturday.

After the ceremony, Williams --who wore four dresses at the second ceremony, changed into a gown by Albina Dyla for their reception ball held at the St. Regis Atlanta. The space was decorated in cream and nude colors.  Guests were treated to a surprise performance by the R&B group Dru Hill.

Williams said about the wedding, "I really wanted to hear the song 'Beauty Is Her Name.' I have always thought about having on a wedding dress and dancing to it. And then my husband would say, 'Beauty Is Her Name.' I love Dru Hill and am so glad the whole group is back together."

Porsha and Simon's first ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Atlanta. They were joined by 250 guests.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stayed on top at the domestic box office for the third weekend in a row. The Marvel film brought in $64 million over the five-day holiday weekend. The Disney animated movie Strange World came in second with $18.6 million over the five-day stretch, and Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery took third place with $13.3 million.

PORSHA WILLIAMS AND SIMON GUOBADIA GET MARRIED FOR THE SECOND TIME: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams married Simon Guobadia in back-to-back ceremonies over the weekend. The pair had their first wedding in Nigeria Friday (November 25th), and then they tied the knot for the second time in Atlanta Saturday (November 26th). Guests at the couple’s Atlanta wedding included Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora, Cynthia Bailey, Rickey Smiley, Karlie Redd, Quad Webb, and T.I.

OLIVIA MUNN SHARES PHOTOS FROM BABY MALCOM’S FIRST BIRTHDAY: Olivia Munn and John Mulaney celebrated their son Malcom Hiep’s first birthday over the weekend. Munn shared photos and video of the one-year-old messily devouring a birthday cake to Instagram Sunday (November 27th). FREDDIE ROMAN DIES AT 85: According to Deadline, comedian Freedie Roman passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday morning (November 26th). He was 85 years old. Roman appeared films such as Welcome to Kutsher’s: The Last Catskills Resort, The Last Laugh, Finding North, and Sweet Lorraine. His television appearances included Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Tonight Show, and Red Oaks.

DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON REVEALS WARNER BROS. DIDN’T WANT HENRY CAVILL TO RETURN AS ‘SUPERMAN:’ Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Twitter recently to share how he “fought hard” to get Henry Cavill back as Superman. “This has been years in the making regarding bringing Henry Cavill back and years of strategic conversations and we were not going to take no for an answer,” he said in a video. “It all comes back to where Superman you have to have Superman in the mix. So that’s why we fought hard to bring Superman back, Henry Cavill, and there was no other Superman, by the way, to bring back Henry Cavill is our generation Superman and in my opinion, the greatest Superman. ANTONIO BANDERAS SAYS HE WOULD ‘PASS THE TORCH’ TO TOM HOLLAND FOR ‘ZORRO’ REBOOT: In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Antonio Banderas said he could see Tom Holland as the next Zorro. “If they called me to do ‘Zorro,’ I would do what Anthony Hopkins did for me, which is to pass the torch,” Banderas told the outlet. When asked who he’d choose as his successor, the Desperado actor named Tom Holland. “I did ‘Uncharted’ with him, and he’s so energetic and fun,” he said. “He’s got this spark, too. Why not?”

CHRIS PRATT SHARES BEHIND-THE-SCENES PHOTOS FROM ‘GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY’ HOLIDAY SPECIAL: Chris Pratt is getting into the holiday spirit by sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special. “Just a few sneak peeks behind the scenes filming our Holiday Special with none other than Legendary Hero Kevin Bacon. In her first public appearance since leaving a wellness facility in October, Wendy Williams talked about whether she wants to get married again and how she "can't wait to fall in love." The former talk show host took part in a conversation at the WBLS Circle of Sisters event in New York City Monday night (November 21st).

"I can't wait to fall in love, and I don't want to get married. I want him to have already had kids," Williams said in a video shared to the WBLS Instagram. "I want him to be someplace between, someplace around my age, you know, maybe 10 years younger than me, and maybe 15 years older than me, you know what I mean?"

She added, "And then we'll be able to do things together, like if we want to all of a sudden want to fly from New York City, if we want to fly to France, to be there for 2 days, to have food or whatever, I want to be able, you know, I could be qualified with a man that, 'Come on, baby. Let's do it. Do we fly private or do we fly public?"

After the event, her publicist told Entertainment Tonight, "Wendy Williams was invited out to her former radio station's annual WBLS' Circle of Sisters event as she shared in a momentous and sentimental moment with the audience after taking time off and focusing on herself, she is gracefully getting back to what she loves."

On Monday's (November 21st) episode of The Verywell Mind podcast, Kevin Hart spoke with licensed therapist Amy Morin about "cancel culture" and having the opportunity to learn from one's mistakes. Hart faced backlash in 2018 for resurfaced homophobic tweets he once shared, after he was chosen to host the 2019 Academy Awards.

Morin asked Hart if he felt he had to be "more careful" with his jokes in "the world of ‘cancel culture.'" The Jumanji actor replied, "Absolutely." He explained, "Let's be honest, I think there was a lot of changes that were needed and necessary, right? And I think being aware is something we should all prioritize. Just being aware. We're learning to better understand each other, and in doing so, respect should be attached to that."

Hart believes social media has introduced a "heightened level of sensitivity" and a "heightened level of opinion." He continued, "So now the things we didn't hear on a regular basis you are hearing. The conversations you may not have been aware of, well, you are hearing because they're all happening in real time."

The Me Time actor also commented on how we need to make space for people to learn from their mistakes. "We're forgetting that there has to be a world that presents the opportunity to improve. Without that, what the f---? Where do we go?" he said. "If everything is deemed bad once it's done and there is no other thing that you can do because you did the thing and that's it for you, well, what the hell? ... You have to make the mistakes to learn and to basically have real-life examples of what you're supposed to grow from."

Quentin Tarantino is responding to those who criticize his films on account of violence and the use of racial slurs. The Pulp Fiction creator recently appeared on HBO Max's Who's Talking to Chris Wallace and addressed the backlash he's faced.

Wallace asked him, "So when people say, ‘Well there's too much violence in his movies. He uses the N-word too often.' You say what?" Tarantino replied, "You should see something else. Then see something else." He added, "If you have a problem with my movies then they aren't the movies to go see. Apparently, I'm not making them for you."

Do the Right Thing director Spike Lee spoke out against Tarantino in 2012 for his film Django Unchained, starring Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio. The N-word was used in the movie more than 100 times.

"I can't speak on it 'cause I'm not gonna see it," Lee said of the film at the time. "All I'm going to say is that it's disrespectful to my ancestors. That's just me. … I'm not speaking on behalf of anybody else."

Selma Blair and Christina Applegate are supporting one another in their battles with multiple sclerosis. Applegate announced her diagnosis in 2021, and Blair has been struggling with the disease since 2018.

"Oh gosh, I've known Christina for so many years, we're really close, and I'm just a fan of hers," Blair told Entertainment Tonight. "She is an iconic California girl actress of my generation, and she is it. There has not been one thing that she's done that I haven't been like, 'Nailed it,' and she's nailing just being who she is with this MS."

She also detailed how she and her The Sweetest Thing costar are there for one another. "Christina still supports me. She's just a strong one," the Cruel Intentions actress said. "She really is. She's such a nurturer. If you need something she's at your house. There have been things that I had been unglued, and she's like, 'I'm outside. Answer the door.' She's just amazing and strong and fun."

Blair added, "But I'm more like, 'OK, if you need help with canes,' and that stuff, 'cause I'm like, really into all of that, like all the things that help me get around, but she's getting it locked down. She has a lot on her plate. It's a lot, but she's as brilliant and beautiful as ever."

KANYE ‘YE' WEST MISSES DEPOSITION IN KIM KARDASHIAN DIVORCE: Page Six reports that Kanye "Ye" West didn't show up for a scheduled deposition in his divorce with Kim Kardashian on November 16th. Court documents show that he has been given one more chance to appear at a November 29th deposition. However, if he fails to make it to this one, a judge will determine whether he'll "be permitted to offer any testimony, oral or written" prior to trial.

CELESTE BARBER SAYS EMILY RATAJKOWSKI BLOCKED HER FOR PARODY VIDEO: According to The New York Post, comedian Celeste Barber revealed on an Australian radio program that Emily Ratajkowski blocked her for making fun of one of the Gone Girl actress' G-string photoshoots. "we are sick of you objectifying our bodies! Also, here's my a**," Barber captioned a video of herself posing like Ratajkowski. Some criticized her joke for having "problematic" and "misogynistic" undertones. When asked if she received any feedback from Ratajkowski, Barber said, "I don't think Emily is a fan … That's okay, she's allowed to not love it. But she blocked me." The Letdown actress added, "If Cindy Crawford's okay with it, I'm okay with it. Thanks to the greatest supermodel in the world, people are allowed not to like it."

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN HELD ONTO HER SON REIGN'S HAIR AFTER CUTTING IT: Kourtney Kardashian revealed to Interview Magazine recently that she keeps her son Reign's hair in a "secret drawer," after she cut it for the first time two years ago. "I have Reign's hair because we didn't cut his hair until he was five," she told the outlet. "So I have his long braid and I smell it often."

ERIC IDLE COMMENTS ON DAVE CHAPPELLE BEING ‘CANCELLED:' According to The New York Post, journalist Kara Swisher interviewed Monty Python actor Eric Idle Monday (November 21st) and asked him his thoughts on cancel culture. "What do you think of the comedians like Dave Chappelle, for example, who's saying that he's being subjected to censorship?" she asked. The Casper actor replied, "Well where does he say it? On ‘SNL.'" Idle later added, "Well, you're not being that much canceled, are you? If you were in your room complaining, I'd have a lot more sympathy." To this, Swisher responded, "Right, so then he doesn't pay the price, he just says he pays the price." Idle also shared how much he "hates" conservatives in his country. "I hate them intensely, I've always hated conservatives, I'm afraid to say I'm very prejudiced against them, they're horrible people," he said.

‘CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST' AND ITS SPINOFFS ARE REPORTEDLY CANCELLED: After the news broke that Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to a respective 12 and seven years in prison for fraud and tax evasion, Deadline reports that Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley have been axed. However, some episodes of the 10th season of Chrisley Knows Best will still air on NBC, as they were filmed prior to the sentencing.

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE'S NETFLIX SHOW GETS RELEASE DATE: According to Page Six, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries will arrive on the platform December 8th. Speaking about the show, Markle told The Cut in August, "The piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see, is our love story."

‘TOP GUN: MAVERICK' PARAMOUNT+ RELEASE DATE REVEALED: According to Entertainment Tonight, Top Gun: Maverick is expected to hit Paramount+ on December 22nd. The Tom Cruise film earned nearly $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office.

THE CAST OF ‘LOVE ACTUALLY' WILL REUNITE FOR ABC SPECIAL: People reports that the cast of the holiday classic Love Actually is scheduled to reunite for The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special. Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, and more will be back together to celebrate the 2003 movie. The special will air on ABC Tuesday (November 29th) at 8 p.m. ET.

HARRISON FORD WILL BE ‘DE-AGED' FOR ‘INDIANA JONES 5:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison Ford, who is currently 80 years old, will be made to look younger using "de-aging technology" for the upcoming Indiana Jones movie. The opening scene is reportedly set in 1944, approximately eight years after Raiders of the Lost Ark, and will show Ford battling Nazis in a castle.

Many in Hollywood took to social media on Sunday (November 20th) to express both heartbreak and outrage following the horrific mass shooting over the weekend at Club Q, an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The tragedy, which took place the day before Trans Day of Remembrance, resulted in five deaths and more than a dozen injuries.

Ellen DeGeneres, Andy Cohen, Hilarie Burton Morgan, Bette Midler, George Takei, Jeffrey Wright, and Ethan Embry all spoke out in response to the violence.

"My heart breaks for the victims and LGBTQ+ community in Colorado Springs. Words matter. Hate speech leads to lost lives. No one should have to live in fear for who they are," DeGeneres wrote.

Hilarie Burton Morgan connected the shooting to her recent dispute with Candace Cameron Bure: "THIS! This is why we have to speak out against bigotry of any kind - even the ‘aren't-I-cute-girl-next-door' bullshit that I called out last week. The bigotry of @GAfamilyTV is the most dangerous kind. It normalizes exclusion under the guise of ‘protecting traditional values.'"

Others blamed politicians for spewing hateful rhetoric. "What a sad morning in America. Perhaps this sick attack in Colorado will cause politicians to think twice before fanning flames of homophobia. Let people be who they are for once and for all," Cohen wrote.

Takei added, "This begins with our political leaders. Call them out when they promote hate and bigotry. Remind them of the violence of Colorado Springs. Of the massacre at Pulse Nightclub. Of what nearly happened at Coeur D'Alene. Don't let them spread hate. Don't let it go unanswered."

Julia Fox is letting her fans in on the relationship she had with Kanye "Ye" West earlier this year. On Monday (November 21st), the Uncut Gems actress posted a video to TikTok responding to a fan who questioned her choice in dating a "violent misogynist and anti-Semite."

"I was just going to write about it in my book, and have y'all buy it, but I'll just tell you guys for free," she joked. "The man was being normal around me."

She continued, "By the time me and West got together, it was like, he hadn't been doing anything out there yet. The only thing he had done was change the name in the song and said, like, ‘Come back to me, Kimberly.'" Sharing her love for the Kardashians, Fox said she thought that maybe she could get West fixated on her to help him move past his obsession with Kim.

"I will say that, that month that we spent together, he wasn't on Twitter, first of all, he wasn't on any forms of social media. He didn't even talk about his relationship," she shared. "We only really talked about clothes and, like, weird ideas and plans for the future and our hopes and dreams for childhood and education."

"The moment he started tweeting, I was out," she added. "I realized pretty quickly that he wasn't going to take my help."

Meet the Parents actress Blythe Danner has revealed to People that she's been undergoing a private battle with the same cancer that killed her husband, Bruce Paltrow. Danner, who is Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Paltrow's mother, was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma in 2018 and is now in remission.

"Everyone is touched by cancer in some way, but it's unusual for a couple to have the same cancer," Danner told the outlet. After learning of her diagnosis, she said, "I remember I looked up at heaven and said to Bruce, ‘Are you lonely up there?' "

The I'll See You in My Dreams actress added, "It's a sneaky disease. But I'm fine and dandy now. And I'm lucky to be alive."

Jojo Siwa is getting more and more comfortable speaking out. On Sunday (November 20th), the former All That cast member spoke with People about calling Candace Cameron Bure's "traditional marriage" comments "rude and hurtful."

"As I'm getting older, I'm starting to realize what an impact I really do get to have," she said, adding that she is "learning that I have a chance to use my voice, use my platform for something good and to change the world for the better."

The J-Team actress added she and Bure "have not talked," and that she doesn't think they "ever will again."

LESLIE JORDAN'S MEMORIAL IS HELD IN CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE: Leslie Jordan was laid to rest on Sunday (November 20th) in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. A post shared to his Instagram page showed a photo of the Will & Grace actor as a young boy next to a recent photo of him smiling and wearing a colorful bowtie. "We will never say goodbye. We will keep you alive in our memories and with your stories. Funeral and Memorial, 11/20/22 — Chattanooga, Tennessee," the caption read.

JAY LENO IS DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL AFTER EXPERIENCING SEVERE BURNS: Entertainment Tonight reports that Jay Leno left the Grossman Burn Center on Monday (November 21st), after receiving treatment for third-degree burns on his face, chest, and hands. The former Tonight Show host posed for a photo with the team at Grossman before leaving the facility. Dr. Peter Grossman said in a statement, "I am pleased with Jay's progress, and I am optimistic that he will make a full recovery."

KENDALL JENNER AND DEVIN BOOKER BREAK UP FOR THE SECOND TIME: According to People, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker are no longer an item. Apparently, the pair quietly split last month. "Both have incredibly busy schedules right now with their careers and they've decided to make that a priority," a source told the outlet. Another source added, "They have a lot of love and respect for each other and wish only the best."

JASON MOMOA WATCHES ‘SLUMBERLAND' WITH HIS PET PIG: It doesn't get much cuter than this! Jason Momoa posted a video to Instagram recently showing himself and his pet pig watching his new movie Slumberland together. "Pretty cute, huh?" Momoa said as he snuggled the pig. "But not as cute as you."

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are going their separate ways ... At least for the time being. Multiple sources exclusively told People that they are "taking a break" after two years together.

"He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.," one source said. "It's a very amicable decision."

Another source added, "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart."

The pair have faced a lot of scrutiny during their time together—both from Styles' fans and considering the Don't Worry Darling drama. "The public pressure on them has been difficult," one of the sources said. "They've had ups and downs throughout the relationship."

On Saturday (November 19th), Wilde made her first public appearance since news of the split broke at the 13th Governors Awards.

Christina Ricci opened up to The Sunday Times recently about where she's at today, following the abuse allegations she made against her ex-husband James Heerdegen last year. The Yellowjackets actress obtained a restraining order against Heerdegen in January 2021, citing "severe physical and emotional abuse."

"I think it is important to say that I don't feel like a victim in any way," she said. "I don't feel sorry for myself. I don't even feel like saying, 'Well, it's been a really hard road for me.'"

The Casper actress continued, "Everybody has their personal issues and this has been mine, and it has been about finding my own self-worth and position and strength and power. I tell my story only because I know that, having been in situations like the one I was in, I searched for success stories, stories of people who could get out, could get over it and just be okay."

Ricci added that she wants to be that model for other women now. "And so the fact that now I am in this place where I am so much better than OK, that is my impetus for being honest about it.," she said. "Today I am not ready to talk about it in more depth, but I do think it is important that we have examples for other women — that, as scary as it is, changing your life and saving yourself is the only choice."

Drew Barrymore got candid about her relationship to alcohol in the December edition of her magazine Drew. The Never Been Kissed actress said abstaining from drinking "has been one of the most liberating things in my journey of life."

"One of the bravest things you can do is slay those dragons and finally change an awful cycle in which you've found yourself stuck," she wrote. "For me, it was to stop drinking."

The Charlie's Angels actress said this allowed her "to finally become free of the torture of guilt and dysfunction."

The talk show host also shared support for others this holiday season. "During the holidays, when we spend so much energy trying to measure up to the picture-perfect standards set by the Norman Rockwells of the world, I'd like for you to try to remember to give yourself a pass -- a hug, as it were -- and I will try, too," she wrote.
